About
ORGANO Ca 5 NEO HF is an auxiliary drier suitable for coating applications.
Benefits:
- Its active component includes calcium salt of a saturated branched C10 synthetic fatty acids in hydrocarbon solvent
- Promotes activity of other driers, especially of through-driers such as lead and zirconium
- It is used in combination with other driers such as cobalt, lead, manganese and zinc
- Promotes pigment wet and dispersion
- It also improves hardness and gloss, while reducing skinning
- Composed of calcium which is least toxic metal
- It is used to prepare lead-free drying mixtures and enhance the drying rates of cobalt and strontium
Typical Applications:
Ideal for alkyd resin in solvent borne coatings. It is also used in paints where lead should be avoided.
