Safic-Chem FR PC-MB is a flame retardant used in polymer applications. Shelf life: 12 months.
Benefits:
- It is a polycarbonate, silicon-hydroxyl siloxane resin and silicon-hydride siloxane masterbatch
- Enables UL94 V-0 flame retardancy in PC and PC alloy systems without the use of fluorine or phosphorus
- Maintains a heat distortion temperature (HDT) above 120°C
- It is PFAS-free
- The recommended dosage for achieving UL94 V-0 rating at 1.5 mm thickness is 20–25%, with a PC carrier content of 72.8% and flame retardant additives content of 27.2%
